Belts didn’t take polish blocks very well. I can slow my belt grinder down. Rpms might prevent this. I did try applying compound by turning belt by hand. It worked o.k. But my buffing machine works just as good.

This belt has been a God send. Touching up small scratches, without worrying about making new ones, has been a blessing. For full finishing or hard to reach areas with a buffing wheel, this is the ticket! I love the deep shine the white compound provides as well. Thank you Red Label!

I was looking for a leather strop for my 2 x 72 belt grinder and found these. They are well priced so I gave them a try and was pleased with the result. They are less expensive then leather and come with polishing compound. I have only used them on a few knives so I do not know how long they will last, but so far I am very pleased.

RLA surface conditioning belts are the best product I’ve used to quickly restore pitter, rusty axes. I love them.

I found that the polishing compound that came with the non-woven polishing belts didn't adhere very well to the belt. At least that was the case with the green since I haven't tried the white as of yet

Great way to obtain an even finish on flat polished surfaces using a 2x72” grinder setup with a flat platen. Belt ha fuzzy backing to conform to surfaces and a loose pile to hold compound.

As a newcomer to the hobby of restoring old tools and instruments, I found these belts to be a valuable resource.
One suggestion: again as a newcomer,I think a short “How to use the compounds “ information sheet would be very useful to people such as myself. I had to call the company to find out what the white compound was used for as well as what the green compound was used for.
