¿Para qué aplicaciones funcionan bien estos cinturones?
Nuestras bandas de lijado de calidad industrial son perfectas para metales no ferrosos (aluminio, cobre, titanio, níquel) y metales ferrosos (acero, acero inoxidable, arrabio, aleaciones, acero endurecido, etc.). Las bandas de lija también son ideales para maderas densas y duras. Utilice las bandas de papel de lija para eliminar material, rectificar soldaduras, dar forma, cortar, afilar, bruñir y mezclar metales.
Nuestros kits de grano grueso/medio de cerámica Edgecore y grano grueso de circonio están diseñados para contener todas las correas que necesita para cada paso del proceso de fabricación de cuchillos, desde el perfilado hasta el rectificado en bisel, el lijado de bordes y el afilado.
¿Por qué utilizarías un respaldo flexible?
Como sugiere el nombre, los respaldos flexibles son ligeros y flexibles. Se utilizan cuando se realiza un rectificado flojo (sin plato ni rueda de contacto) para dar un acabado uniforme a las superficies curvas. Great abrasives, will be coming back again and again.
We own a nonprofit that supports veterans and suicide prevention. Part of what we do is hold blacksmithing instruction / events. During these events we typically have 10-15 veterans and family members working in our shop. We have two 2 x 72 grinders and use your belts. They hold up very well to the rigorous use by our attendees and last very long, even with heavy use. Thank you for a great product.

you guys are the greatest. I still have belts that I got from you about 3 years ago that I use for rough grinding right after I finish using the 4 in. grinder to cut out the knives. I’ve been making blades for a few years now and I recently purchased my 2x72 grinder and have tried several different belts some out preforming the other and some company’s were absolutely a nightmare to order from for different reasons ( very expensive shipping & time of delivery) but Red Label has won me over ! The progression through the belts on this blade was seamless with much less heat and dramatically less belt wobbling!!! And even tho the customer asked for the knife not to have a slick finish the 240 grit did more than I expected and he was very pleased with the finish. I recently upgraded to a 2x72 grinder and before it even arrived I made sure I had some red label ceramic belts ready to put on. They last much longer than other belts I have used and cut very fast. They also seem to reduce heat buildup.

I've used other belts but have found Red Label belt to be of a higher quality & longer lasting. I've ordered straight from them and also purchased Red Label from Amazon. They may cost a little more than some others, but cut better and last longer.

Red Label Abrasives are the only 2 x 72 belts I use. They have every belt grinding/sanding/conditioning option a knife maker could ask for. This Battle Ax was a conversion made from a fireman hand ax using Red Label Ceramic Sanding belts.
My first experience with Red Label abrasives was with the 2"x72" fine grit ceramic belts ,and they are awesome! I just bought the zirconia coarse belts and they are phenomenal! I went with the zirconia to save a little money over the ceramic belts and also because I don't think my grinding style takes full advantage of the ceramic belts anyway.
I purchased your belt from Amazon and love them. They last longer than others I have used. Here's a knife I made that now finds it home on a Tuna fishing boat off the NJ shore.

Hot off the grinder! I grind post heat treat, so I need an aggressive, long lasting ceramic belt. The J weight ceramics are game changers, saving so much time with really nice results.

After retirement I took up forging Damascus knife blades as a hobby. Once I tried ceramic belts I will not go back to cheap Aluminum Oxide belts for metal working. I like Red Label ceramic belts, they cut fast and last through a lot of heavy grinding on my knife builds. Red Label is my go to for ceramic grinding belts.
