Our industrial grade zirconia sanding belts are a great choice for heavy duty grinding applications. Zirconia’s self-sharpening abrasive grains extend belt life up to 2.5 times longer than aluminum oxide. Zirconia fractures during use, continuously revealing sharp abrasive grain. Its durability makes it a great choice for knife makers, blacksmiths, welders, or anyone working with metals. While it will not match the longevity of ceramic abrasives, zirconia is a cost-effective alternative. Wet or dry applications. Hand built in the USA.

Had some big cleavers to make which required a lot of stock removal on some 3V. Very happy with the removal rate, heat level, and lifespan of the zirconia 40 grits for this. Have also used the 80's and 120's a bit but haven't wore any of those out yet. I'll be ordering some more in the 36 grit.

Sanding belts are made of good quality materials, much thicker and heavier duty than any of the other belts that have been purchased in the past. Will definitely buy again.

We’re smoothing the edges of non ferrous belt buckles and these 150grit belts crush it. Longer lasting than our old belts. We’re converted to Red Label Abrasives!

Super fast super strong. However, I thought I was ordering 60 grit and somehow the default 24 grit came back up and that’s what they sent me. To send it back and order new would cost almost as much as the Belts themselves in shipping cost. 24 grit in woodworking is not too useful, but it sure does rip through the wood.
I bought the 40 grit green belt three pack for excess wood removal on knife handles . It works great , but a little too aggressive , I would buy again when needed ,but with a finer grit . This stuff is wicked on wood and FINGERS! One thing that I found is my 4”x36” belt sander would not start on its own with a new belt because the backing was so stiff , had to push start it . This went away after a few push starts and the belt loosened up . I will definitely buy again. Great product !
I'm a diy guy, retired and able to spend time in my wood shop...well, mostly wood. I do a bit of everything I can afford. I live on an island and the humidity is murder on the glue of some belt joints. One of my bigest peeves is sanding belts that don't last. It takes them a long time to get here (no fault of the seller), and I expect them to last. While I have not used these belts yet, I'm confident that they will outlast the junk I get from box stores.

I thought that I had bought a lack-luster belt sander for knife making and bladesmithing. I soon found out that it wasn’t the belt sander, but the belts that weren’t performing how I wanted them to. The belts I bought through red label abrasives are seriously top notch at a great price. This is the place where I get belts now!
