For best results, use a 3/4 to 1HP variable-speed 'heavy duty' buffer at 2000-2600 RPM. 1/2HP low-speed buffers are not recommended. Lower-cost machines are often lighter and may vibrate the buff excessively. Recommended brands: Grizzly, Jet, or any heavy-duty machine (35+ lbs)
All buffs are 8" Dia with a 5/8" Arbor
BUFF KIT:Our Buff kit contains 1 each of PINK, GREEN and WHITE buffs with our PINK C106, BLUE VOLAX-CHROME, WHITE MX5 compound, Mini Buff Rake and 2 sets of 4" buff safety flanges, with any additional sets of flanges sold separately.
ORANGE STIFF TREATED COTTON/SISAL BUFF: for an ultra-heavy cut after a 180G finish. Recommended to be used with our Marpol C63 CARBO Black Compound or your favorite heavy cut bar. 1HP buffer recommended.
PINK MEDIUM STIFF TREATED COTTON BUFF: for a heavy / medium cut after a 400G finish. Recommended to be used with our Marpol C106 heavy cut compound or your favorite heavy/medium cut rouge bar.
GREEN FLEXIBLE SOFT TREATED COTTON BUFF: for a medium / finish cut. Can be used with our Marpol VOLAX-CHROME FINISH rouge or use with your favorite medium cut rouge bar.
WHITE SUPER SOFT UNTREATED COTTON BUFF:for a final cut / mirror finish. Use this wheel with our Marpol MX5 white compound or your favorite white rouge.

I bought 2 replacement aero wheels a fine and course. They are both so out of balance there not usable. Could you please replace them for something that is usable. Thanks, Chris Cornelius

I have only used the Air Wave buffing system one time, since I seldom aim for mirror polished blades, however they very obviously make the arduous job of doing a high polish much easier! I will definitely be using them more!
These buffing wheels and abrasives on my grizzly buffer are a game changer. I take the hardened blade, after liquid nitrogen & final tempering, to sandblast. From there, the buffing wheels do a really great job, and a lot of sanding lines are excluded as a result of the sandblasting step. I have to say these great buffing wheels and abrasives really made my blade turn out nicely. Can’t wait to see it etched!
Had a couple thousand stainless parts that had to be taken from a machined finish to a full mirror polish. The treated airway buff kit works the best out of anything I've tried so far, allowing us to skip 2 belt steps and substantially reduce time spent polishing. Buffing wheels are mounted on a Jet 8amp grinder turning 3450rpm.

Got a mirror finish within 5 minutes, however i may add the white wheel had a layer rip on me and I just winded up cutting that one piece off i guess dont use that gradder on it! but didnt matter still got the mirror finish!
What a gamechanger. I used it for the first time today and I'm just floored on how easy it is to get a mirror finish on my knives. This is a must have for me now. Thankyou Red Label for making such a good product.
Sanded to 400 grit and then buffed.
This is the best buffing/polishing system I have found to date! Follow the directions to the "T" and you to can achieve a truly liquid polish! Look no further!

I've tried other methods to get my butter knives to stop rusting. It's only been a couple weeks but so far it's successful which is better then my other methods! I will note this is my first time doing this. I think I could have used the red wheel a bit more as you can see I still have some scratches.
Amazing buffing wheels. Mirror finished take me about 15 minutes, these take my time down to about a minute. Insane.
The kit only includes one set of 4” safety flanges. It would be great to include 3 sets so one doesn’t have to change buffing wheels on one station. NP though, I ordered 2 sets from Amazon and good to go now. Buffing wheels work great and cuts down on my sanding time to get a mirror finish on my knife blades.
I have ordered from Red Label before and I really like their products. What I really like is the AirWay Buffing System. I'll buy dang near anything to cut down on hand sanding, and boy oh boy these wheels and compounds did not disappoint.
Love the airway wheels so far. The course wheel is a little harder to break in. Hopefully in time it softens up a little bit

The airway buffing wheels make short work of my knives. Really cuts the time down. Love them.
When the ultra-cut buffing wheel arrived, the center arbor hole was buggered and would not slide over the arbor on my buffer. I was able to file it so it would slide over my arbor. Once I got that fixed, it seems to work fine. It is always a bummer when you buy something new and then have to work on it before you can even use it!
I was looking for how to clean up metal surfaces. I came across this package, watched the video and was highly impressed. I bought it, recieved it and was surprised at how good the quality of the materials are. Very impressive!

These are great wheels from a great company. If you need any type of abrasives Red Label is the place to get them. Their products are top notch, can't beat them.
The treated buffing kit is excellent. It came with every thing I need to bring my knives to a dull semi shine or a “super polished” mirror shine. This kit is fantastic in every way. Much better than using hard muslin to a soft muslin and it brings out a better shine.
The orange ridged buff works great and it fit my 5/8 arbor perfectly. The only issue was it was not even close to being round and my Baldor buffer, had heavy vibration issues. I raked it and did it some more but it was so bad I removed it and after measuring, it was 0.558 out of round. I made an arbor and chucked the buff in my lathe and modified a carbide parting tool to cut it. I made two cuts and reinstalled on the buffer. Raked it again and it’s now perfect.
