- Wet or dry applications. IMPORTANT: The extra thick zinc stearate coating on these discs offers superior lubrication and requires less water than typically used in wet applications. Water misting is more effective than a steady stream. Material released from the disc surface during use is NOT abrasive grain, it is zinc stearate. This coating is designed to slough off gradually while providing close tolerance and a perfectly even surface finish.

Using your discs for fine grit wet sanding on epoxy river tables. Work very well and seem to last 2X longer than other pads I’ve used. Very happy with them.
Used as the second grit for restoring gelcoat on a boat. These pads are great because they WORK, last reasonably well, and one can tell how much grit is left with a spray.
Perfect first step for oxidized gelcoat. Long lasting and easy to tell when to change pads.

I finish all my epoxy boards with red labels 6” Hook and loop fine grit papers. Makes my boards buttery.
I used red label 5” disc’s to polish my headlights and they worked great. 400, 800, 1000, 2000 then clear coat. took all the yellow and haze out. before light on the left and after on the right.

Excellent quality and great value for the money. These are my go-to discs for metal paint prep and clear coat imperfection repair.
I used the 2000 grit discs for color sanding a 1973 Mustang new paint job. It quickly and evenly removed the orange peel and did not clog. Everything pass on the panel I’d simply wipe off the disc with a lint free rag and go back to sanding. I’m very pleased with the disc’s performance and longevity.

Very fast shipping and a good product. Adds that pop up are always for knife making but I'm using the abrasives for guitar making. Red Label has a product for any need.
I attempted to remove paint from flat sheet metal. Since the discs are cut from a roll of material they retain their “pringles” shape and therefore bounce when attached to my sander. The abrasive quickly dulled and filled with paint. I did not have this problem with traditional sanding discs

Order was filled very quickly and the product did and excellent job on the final sanding of the clear coat applied to the RV sides.
